The value of hard work and the value of a dollar. Kaylee was offered to go to gymnastics sleep away camp in June. She was so excited and we felt that this is something that she is ready for. Not that we feel ready to send her away for 4 days. So with that said it was now the cost of paying for camp. We have always wanted to instill in our children that no matter how young you are you still can work for things you want. That you are not entitled to anything. So Kaylee started with odd jobs around the house and quickly realized it was going to take more that jobs around the house to help pay for camp. So she came up with a garage sale. We are so proud of her that she is willing to work and earn things for her self. We went through all of our junk and then my dear friend was moving and wanted to contribute to Kaylee's sale and donated some wonderful items. Kaylee was so excited and she just loved organizing everything and pricing it. This morning was the sale. She set her alarm and was up at 6 am to get her tables all set up. She greeted all the customers and negotiated with them. and with a great big smile she collected her money. She worked for 6 hours today and paid her way to camp! We are very proud of her.
