2 weeks old

Ty is growing so fast. We took him to the doctors today because he has a cough. The doctors said it is totally normal because he has sisters. So he gave us a few thing we can do for him. Ty is already up in weight about 8.5 lbs. He is a growing boy. He eats like a champ a true Kosi.

Merry Christmas

This Christmas was very special for us.  Last year was very hard  for our family and now all of our prayers have been answered. We are so excited to get on with the new year. Our family came to visit us and we got to celebrate baby Ty and Christmas here in Texas. The girls received so many nice presents. They were especially excited about their new bikes. Leo is always taking them on Saturday morning bike rides. The last bike ride Aubree's chain fell off and Leo had to chase her to help her stop. So she said she was so happy to have a bike with brakes. I guess it is the little things in life we should be thankful for. We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

The best gift this Christmas. We are very blessed to have a very sweet and healthy baby boy.

Ty Richard

When i got my gown they gave Leo his shirt.
We would like you all to meet Ty Richard. He arrived December 15th at 10:42 am. 7.2lbs and 19 3/4 inches long. Here is his birth story is short and sweet. I went into labor at midnight started feeling the contractions getting worse about 2:30, took my famous warm bath to see how long I could stay home. About 3:00 I woke Leo up as he was sleeping so sound. We got the girls things ready for school the next day and lunches packed. About 3:30 We knocked on our wonderful neighbors door. To come watch the girls for us. (She has been our  angel). So off to the hospital a 20 minuet drive. Arriving the contractions were getting worse. They checked me in and set me all up. Civilian hospital are like a hotel compared to the army medical on Kaylee and Aubree were born in. They checked me I was at 6 cm. The doctor came in at about 7am broke my water and said will have a baby my lunch. The contraction continued to get stronger. I really wanted to try the no medication thing...I just loose my mind by 8cm. Needless to say I got one. At about 10:15 the nurse called the doctor into the room, Ty's heart beat was dropping when I had a contraction. So the doctor said lets do a few pushes and speed this up. Not realizing that after 5 contractions Ty would be out and looking at us. It was the best. The birth story short and sweet, the best kind. Here are a few pictures of the little guy. The girls were so excited to see him after school. They did say he is smaller then expected.

39 Weeks

Aubree and Ty
The belly size says it all. Ty is just about done cooking. My doctors apoitment went great. All looks good we are both healthy. The doctor says my body is working I have contractions on a regular basis but not so painful I need to be at the hospital. I have been asked by the doctor if my water breaks to get my butt there, he thinks I will go fast. One could only hope. It sure is a blessing to have a December baby. The cold weather is much friendlier on a pregnant girl. Having the girls as summer babies was uncomfortable. The plan for baby Ty is if he doesn't come by the 20th of December we will have him induced that morning. Thanks for all your prayers with this pregnancy. Looking back on the storm we were put through last Thanksgiving and Christmas God has shown us his great love to our family. This year we have so much to be thankful for. Love to all and Merry Christmas!

37 weeks and no longer feet first!

Well yesterday was a successful day at labor and delivery. I went in about 1:30 to get all prepped for a procedure called inversion. I got a cute gown and an iv started. I felt weird to be in a civilian hospital I felt like I was in a hotel. The nurses were very nice and hooked me up to all the monitors. I have been feeling tightness for the last month or so, but not bad enough to go in. Well in the monitor I was showing contraction every 3 to 4 min. They decided to give me  medication to relax my uterus and keep it from contracting. The doctor came in and filled my belly with tons and tons of jelly. The the nurse used the ultrasound to follow Ty's heart beat. The doctor pushed and pulled like I was pizza dough. With in about five ten minuets we have head down! It was a success. We just need to pray that he will stay put. I had to be monitored for a few hours after that because my contractions keep coming. I am dilated at 1 50% effaced and -3. They finally let me go home, I just have to take it easy. Thank you for all your prayers through this. Ty's due date is December 20, but as we know babies come when they are ready.  Happy December!

36 Weeks

I went to the doctors to start my weekly checks on Tuesday. Ty is very healthy estimated weight 6lbs 6 oz so far. They did tell me that he is breech, so we will be going on Monday to see if the little guy has moved. As of now I don't thins so because I can still feel his head in my ribs. I'm just trying to keep and open mind about it and see what happens. Looking back on the girls Kaylee was sunny side up which caused me extreme back labor. Aubree was transverse till 38 weeks. So a breech baby was next on the list. Just excited to see this little one. Not knowing if I will have to have a c-section just yet it has helped me to get my bum in gear. I went to the baby store and bought tons of stuff. Well the important things car seat, diapers, wipes, and a mattress. The girls kept asking if the baby was going to sleep in the springs of the crib. I also washed all the cute clothes and bedding. It is amazing what I got done. Not what you would expect on Thanksgiving day.  Hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Our Wonderful Trip To California

It was nice to spend so time with our family and friends who we have missed so much. The week was very full of tons of activities. The girls and I flew in on Friday afternoon the first stop surprising  Winter at her school book fair, then of to Jordan's football game. He did a great job. It brought back memories of Leo playing. Can't wait for our little guy to play. After the football game we had to squeeze in a shopping trip. The next day we were off to Winter's Gymnastics meet. She did a great job and the girls love to look at all of her medals. Sunday was my baby shower. My mom and sister spent so much time preparing and decorating for it. They all made me feel very loved. Thanks everyone for coming and spending time with me. It was at my favorite place Olive Garden and we had all you can eat soup and salad. We opened gifts and played some fun games. One of the games was guess the baby's name. For all who missed the shower the answer is Ty Richard. With only 4 weeks to go we can't wait to meet this guy. The girls went to Disneyland with Papa and Mimi, I was asked by the doctor and chiropractor not to go...believe it I listened. I spent the day with some of my wonderful girlfriends who I miss so much. I wish we could meet for coffee and dinner every week. Daddy flew in on Wednesday and he was very busy helping his little brother get ready for the wedding. We meet up with the family at the dinner rehearsal had pizza and also something called a Pizookie. The kids were crazy for the rest of the night. To end the wonder week in CA, was the wedding. We are so excited to welcome Elaine into the family. Leo and I are so proud of how far they have come and are excited to see what God has planned for them. The wedding was so touching I had to admit my eyes kept tearing up. I would love to say it’s the hormones but it was not. The reception was a great and memorable evening for everyone who attended. You could really feel all the love that grounded them. It was fun watching the girls dance the night away. I mean that we had to pull them off the dance floor and out of the photo booth. (pictures will explain it all) We had an early flight to catch the next morning, Thank you to everyone who made our visit so enjoyable. Next time we come to visit will have a little one to share.
