I am a monster

I can touch the sky.

Blessed to have my girls.

I have not been keeping up with my postings. I have been thinking of many things to write about, but one big thing is my girls. I am so blessed to have them as daughters. Our new schedule this year is Kaylee gets out of school and we speed over to gymnastics practice. She eats her chicken patties in the back along with some other snack item. Although crazy Ty is sometimes yelling we get a chance to have mom and daughter talks. Like the boy who keeps leaving notes in her locker or the girls that wear to much mascara. I feel so blessed to have these moments with her. School has really picked in projects and book reports. She leaves for school at 7:10 am and then doesn't get home till 6:45 from practice. what a long day, but dropping gymnastics in here eyes is not an option. She loves it and with great grades who can complain. Sunday night I found her reading( not uncommon) She figured out that if she does her book reading on Sunday's she will have less work through out the week. What a planner and so responsible. I just need to step back and let her bloom. On to the next flower...

Aubree has also been melting my mommy heart. She and I have started to turn over a new relationship. It is really hard to parent someone exactly like you. And having your husband point that out is not easy. We started of the new year with a few learning challenges. We did a overhaul and really started to dig down deep and work through all life has tossed our way. I want the smile that everyone sees on her face to be deep down truthful. She is very hard on herself and expects to be the fastest and best at everything. Working through the school challenges has brought us closer together. As a parent you want to just fix things for you child or make it easier for them.  I am learning it is not my job to change just teach and give her the tools to make changes. Seeing her self worth grow and confidence is a warm feeling. The other night the freeway was extremely backed up even for here. So i told Aubree to not give Daddy a hard time because he was tired from all the traffic. When her walked in to sit at dinner she looked at him and said, "I am sorry Daddy you had to sit in all that traffic". It was so genuine. The way she is expressing her self is getting so much better.  She is the best big sister to Ty. He can say her name the clearest....and she makes him so happy.
