Things here have been really busy. We love our new family of 3, it is keeping us on our toes. I have not had a chance to sit and write updates one every posting, because it is very hard to type with one hand. Ty loves the computer keys and that makes for a challenge. Family life here in Texas is still very enjoyable. We just signed our house lease for one more year. Next year we have plans to buy a house. We have been scouting out the best areas and are excited we just might have found it. It is very hard to think of moving because we had amazing next door neighbor. We have never had that before. The one' s that you can go get a egg from if you are baking and run out. Or better yet hitch a ride to school. We are so blessed to have them next door.
Work for Leo has been good, busy but still has a job that is a blessing. He is also going to school in the evenings. It is wonderful to have a hardworking husband. He loves the girls and Ty so much. He looks forward to hanging out with them on the weekends, fishing at the lake and bike rides. Today they are out on the boat. (thanks to Papa and Mimi).
Kaylee has been busy with school and gymnastics. Grades are great mostly A's and a B. We are very proud of her ability to read. We have to remind her she can' read and walk! School has been at time hard for her socially, the girls thing can be hard but she is working through it like a champ. We are working on a book together called 8 Great Dates with Your Daughter. If you have a girl I highly recommend it. I talks about purity and modesty. Gymnastics season is over. She was able to meet her goals got a 10 and placed 2nd in State on beam and 5 all around. She just had evaluations for level 5, will see if she make the team. The workout will increase to 3 day's a week for 3 hour practices. She loves the friends at gym and has a wonderful caring coach.
Aubree is loving school although getting up and out the door is a challenge. She is my best helper with Ty, She loves to read to him and play with him. Daddy gave her the job to always sit next to him in the car or at the table. Ty just loves to see her smile and talk to him. Gymnastics went well for Aubree she was able to get out there and show her stuff. She has asked to try swim team, so we have that tryout next week. Her teacher says she is very good in school and loves to smile. She is still "training Brick(dog)" to do tricks. Sometime we feel bad for him. Last night Aubree pulled out her tooth by herself, that was a huge deal her teeth are hard to get a hold of. I tied a string and told her to give it a pull! The tooth fairy brought her $2.25. Aubree says, "It was great!!"
Ty is getting very big. He is able to to do the following: Smile, roll across the living room, almost sit up by himself, push up and low crawl. And he is just 5 months old scary. I just started making him his baby food. We started on vegetables first peas and now carrots. He loves to eat. I am still nursing him exclusively and looks to be the only way he is going to get milk. I was pumping a bottle for Leo to feed him each week, but after a few trips to CA and not giving him that bottle Ty has decided no to them. We are going to give a cup a try and see if that works. He had a first trip on the plane to CA, was a very good traveler for me. I don;t know what I would do with our my Ergo baby Carrier ( thank to Amber Jenny and Lisa). Ty and I are still attending our Stroller Stride class 3 to 4 times a week. He is starting to look at the other little kids and reach for them. I'm excited he is making friends. He love to jump in the Johnny Jumper we keep trying to take pictures , but he just won't stop jumping!
I have just been busy holding down the house hold stuff. I enjoy my work out class and will continue to go. I have meet very nice ladies and look forward to having mom's night out for Sushi. Next Friday we are all meeting to make baby food and have Mimosa for the mom's! The days seem to go by fast with all I need to cram in. I am very blessed I don't have to go to work. I am looking forward to this summer to hang out at the pool and play on the boat. Please everyone know we miss you all. Off to find Ty....he has rolled.....
