Everything is bigger in Texas

This week here is homecoming celebration. It all started with a parade.  We had no idea what we were in store for.They first shut down the roads and had police escorts through the parade route. It started at the girls elementary school and went  right in front of our house. The parade continued to the local high school. Below are some of the things and people we saw. It was a real treat for the kids and us. They also passed out toys and candy. Gotta say we love the sense of community and all the school spirit here. We will be attending the Homecoming football game Friday night. It will be fun I'm sure.

 The elementary school 4th grade classes got to walk in the parade. Kaylee can't wait for next year.
